Stephen Webster is a Vancouver-based artist, originally from Ireland, whose work explores the interplay between memory, place, and time through the fluid medium of watercolour.
Drawn to the immediacy and unpredictability of the medium, Webster embraces the delicate balance between water, paper, temperature, and time — a living dialogue that forms each painting. His works capture moments where observation and recollection converge, inviting the viewer into quiet spaces of reflection and connection.
A graduate of the National College of Art & Design in Dublin, his work is held in private collections, the Arts Council of Ireland, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. He currently lives and paints in Vancouver, British Columbia.
